Stampin' Up! Merry Mistletoe Chrismtas Card

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share this card we made at my Merry Mistletoe Class at my  August Getaway Retreat Weekend and the Retreat in a Box Class.  I just think the kissing deer are so cute!!  It's easy to do, too!  We just used the reflection technique.  I have a video that shows this technique that I'll share below.

This Christmas card uses Stampin' Up!'s Merry Mistletoe stamp set along with the Boxwood Wreaths and the Cherry Cobbler 1/4" Double Stitched Ribbon. It uses the reflection technique so the deer are kissing. Instructions and reflection vidoe on the blog! #stamptherapist #stampinup www.stamptherapist.com
Here are the instructions:
  1. Fold the 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 card base in half.  Stamp and sign the back.  Set aside.
  2. All of the stamps are from Merry Mistletoe in the current Stampin' Up! Catalog!
  3. Stamp "Wishing you and your loved ones.." inside in Cherry Cobbler ink.
  4. On the 3 3/4 x 5 Whisper White cardstock, stamp the mistletoe image in Garden Green ink.
  5. Next, stamp the deer in Crumb Cake ink as shown.  Then, stamp the deer again on the WINDOW SHEET (you could use any piece of plastic).  It will not dry on here.  Flip it over/upside down and position it so they are "kissing".  Press to transfer.  CLEAN OFF the Window Sheet for the next person.
  6. Attach the pre-punched Cherry Cobbler heart (from the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch) with a tiny drop of Fine-Tip Glue.
  7. Attach to the 4 x 5 1/4 Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  Attach to card base.
  8. Open one of your Boxwood Wreaths and form the swag.  Use 3-4 Mini Glue Dots to attach to the white cardstock.
  9. Tie a bow with your 1/4" Double-Stitched Cherry Cobbler Ribbon.  Attach with a Mini Glue Dot.
