Holiday Extravaganza Card

Here is one of the cards we made at the Holiday Extravaganza.  I copied most of the cards (CASED) from Pinterest or Stampin' Connection - thanks to everyone who shares their creations!!  I hope I sometimes create things people want to copy!!

This card uses Wondrous Wreath (p.9, 135047, $25.95) and the Wonderful Wreath Framelits (p.9, 135851, $24.95).  THE BEST DEAL IS THE BUNDLE - both for $43.25 (137624)!!  You can order these products and more online ANYTIME!  Just click Shop once you get there.  Online orders ship directly to you and arrive in 5-7 business days.

Check out the project instructions from the class below.

Thanks!

 Directions from class:

Happy Wonderful Christmas Card

  1. Remember not to put card front on base until the end when possible.

  1. Remember – INK THE STAMPS GENTLY – our ink pads are very soft.  You can ink them well, but don’t “sink” them into the pad.  Just tap several times all over (move the stamp around).

  1. Fold base in ½; stamp and sign back with hand made by in GARDEN GREEN – make sure you stamp the correct direction.

  1. Photopolymer Stamps: INK VERY CAREFULLY – they are thinner than our rubber stamps, so it’s even easier to get ink all over the block.

  1. IMPORTANT: Use the Stampin' Pierce Mat (p.218, 126199, $4.95) when stamping with photopolymer (so place cs on mat, then stamp).  You can also pick up the stamp and let the paper stick to it and press from underneath to make sure all of the ink transfers to the cs.  (If your table is very hard you don't have to use the mat.)

  1. Your crumb cake cs has been embossed for you with the Perfect Polka Dots folder (p.226, 117335, $7.95).

  1. Wreath: IMPORTANT: as you stamp all 3 images from Wondrous Wreath (p.9 - see info above - bundle is best!) make sure the TAB IS UP on the stamp (don’t forget the Foam Mat).  When you stamp the second one in Garden Green you can match up the leaves exactly, but also don’t stress if they are off a little.  When you stamp the berries, they will not line up exactly, so don’t stress.  THEN, when you die cut, cut BOTH at the same time, and make sure you remember where the top was (when you stamped) so you can use the tabs on the dies to align the dies with the image.  So easy!

  1. Stamp greeting to the LEFT of the crumb cs.  Hand cut V.

  1. Your fork bow has been made for you by Kris with Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding (p.207, 120992, $6.95 for 10 yds) (see my Fork Bow video)!  It will be attached with a glue dot (p.204, 103683, $4.95 for 300): do not unroll the dots and do not touch the dots.  Peel back the protective coating until you see ONE dot; place the embellishment on the dot; pull off; place on project.

  1. Assemble.  FIRST attach designer paper to card base, then attach embossed crumb cake cs.  Wreath and greeting are attached with dimensionals.  Attach to card base.  Done!
