Stampin' Up!'s Stampin' Blends and Seasonal Chums!

Hi Everyone,

I copied this card from a downline (a demonstrator in my group) for my Card Class/Club this weekend!  It's not only a super cute design, but it gives us a chance to use the Stampin' Blends!  I made a video showing how to use the blends and make this card!

Remember, anyone can attend my class each month!  Check out the Events tab above for more info.

Would you like to make your own?

 Here are the directions:

1.      This Early Espresso card base is 5 1/2 x 6 3/4.  It's scored at 2 1/2.  Stamp and sign the back.
2.      All stamps are from Seasonal Chums (bundle and save!!).
3.      Fold on the score mark.
4.      On the skinnier 2 x 5 1/4 Whisper White cardstock, stamp "Merry Christmas" in Early Espresso ink.  Attach inside card.
5.      On the larger scrap of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the front and back of the reindeer.
6.      Punch out with the 2 1/4 Circle punch.  MAKE SURE YOU LET THE INK DRY - you can heat set with the heat tool if you want.
7.      To color in:
8.      Most important: replace the lid on the Stampin' Blend Marker as soon as you finish with it.
9.      Color in the bow and nose on both (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SCRATCH PAPER UNDER) with the Light Cherry Cobbler Blend.  Replace the lid.
10.   Color in the bell with the Light Smoky Slate Blend.  Replace the lid.
11.   Color in one section at a time (head and body separate): FIRST color the entire head (or body) with the Light Crumb Cake Blend.  Quickly close that one and add the Dark Crumb Cake Blend as shown in sample.  Quickly replace the lid and go over that image again (all over the entire thing) with the Light Crumb Cake Blend.  Repeat on the body adding dark where shown on sample.  Repeat on the back side.
12.   Assembly:
13.   Add the 1/2 x 5 1/4 Gold Foil paper to the front.  Next add the 2 x 5 1/4 Wood Textures designer paper.
14.   Die cut the two 2 1/2" Early Espresso scalloped circles with the Layering Circles Framelits.
15.   First add adhesive to ONE SIDE ONLY of ONE scallop circle.  Attach to front.  Add the front deer image.
16.   Next add the back SCALLOP CIRCLE ONLY (DO NOT ATTACH THE DEER YET).  After you align and add the scallop, THEN add the back deer image.
