These are the projects everyone got to make at the Kickoff! They also got to see four AWESOME stamping demonstrations, enjoy lunch, and see lots of samples! It was fun, thanks to everyone who came.

Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Conference
I went to Leadership Jan 12-14 in Nashville, TN, and it was AWESOME! It was the best Leadership EVER! We got TONS of free stuff, checked out the Ryman Theater, went to the Wild Horse Saloon with Stampin' Up!, and more. They really spoiled us all week. Can't wait for next year in San Antonio!!

January Card Club Projects
These are the cards my January card club made. I copied 3 of the 4!! Come check out club sometime - it's the 3rd Saturday at 6:30 pm and the following Monday at 9:00 am or 7:00 pm (3 times to choose from). Just RSVP by the Wed before. Guests are $7 or free with a $15 order!
Directions:
Valentine Card:
1. Spritz white cs with alcohol, emboss with Backgrounds I Texturz Plate (p.215, $11.95, 6 different images): MPP Tab 1, plate, cardstock, silicone (floppy) pad, impressions (plastic) pad.
2. Stamp Be My Valentine ($8.95 p.43-mini) in real red; stamp it again on scraps and cut out the words. Add Dazzling Diamonds Glitter with 2-Way Glue to flowers; attach “be my valentine” with dimensionals.
3. When you attach this to the red mat, it’s a VERY SMALL mat.
4. Punch Pinking Hearts Border (p.200) on pretty in pink cs – this punch is VERY SENSITIVE – you need to clean out the bottom after each punch and line up the image EXACTLY with the silver markings.
5. Choose side of Love Impressions Designer Paper – p.7 of the mini, place adhesive on the back and attach Red Glimmer Paper to it – p.7 of the mini.
6. Assemble card and attach heart image with Dimensionals.
7. Stamp and sign back in Real Red (use new Handmade By stamp p.43 of mini, $4.95).
Folded Paper Frame Card:
1. Emboss pear pizzazz cs with Framed Tulip folder.
2. To make folded frame: Springtime Vintage Designer Paper (p.15-mini, $9.95) is 4 ¼ x 4 ¼. Use pencil and ruler to mark an X in the center. Fold the 4 corners to the center. Then fold them back out leaving approx. ½ an inch. You have a frame!
3. Before you glue the frame together, insert the inside image:

Stamp “for you” from Punch Bunch – FREE with a $50 purchase! in Rose Red on scraps; punch center out with 1 ¼” Circle Punch; attach to pre-punched 1 3/8” Rose Red circle; punch out pre-stamped pear scallop image with scallop circle punch. Attach all to pre-punched Rose Red scallop circle (largest one NOT available for purchase right now) and make sure to attach “for you” with a dimensional. Place inside frame, then:
5. Attach the lower part of the frame with Snail and the 2nd (outer) part with dimensionals.
6. Attach longer piece of ribbon with straight edges cut around pear cs; attach frame; tie shorter piece of ribbon with pointy edges cut.
7. Fold white cs in ½; attach front to it.
8. Stamp and sign back in Rose Red (use new Handmade By stamp p.43 of mini, $4.95).
Bliss Card:
1. Emboss pretty in pink cs with new Framed Tulips folder and artichoke cs with Square Lattice folder.
2. Stamp image from Bliss – FREE WITH A $50 Purchase! – in artichoke in center of Naturals Ivory cs; then re-stamp on either side WITHOUT re-inking the stamp. Attach to melon cs – there will be a VERY SMALL BORDER.
3. Punch out two stems/leaves with 2 Step Bird Punch (p.202, $16.95).
4. Use sponge dauber (p.195, 12 for $10.95) to apply a thin layer of Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint - from lid (p.195, $5.95) to Vanilla Rosette (p.16, mini catalog, $5.95 for 18).
5. To assemble card: attach artichoke cs to pink; then run adhesive along bottom (above embossed tulips) and attach Chantilly Crochet Trim ruffling it up as you go.
6. Then attach Bliss image. Next add Pearl (p.188) and stems/leave (can use sticker sheet to place adhesive on these); then use Mini Glue Dot (p.197, $4.95 for 300) to attach Rosette.
7. Stamp and sign back in Always Artichoke (use new Handmade By stamp p.43 of mini, $4.95).
Chocolate Card:
1. Emboss white cs with Perfect Polka Dots Folder: MPP Tab 1, cutting pad, folder with 1 piece of cs inside folder and black writing facing up, cutting pad.
2. Ink up image with markers as shown in sample ALWAYS START WITH LIGHTER COLOR FIRST, SO Baja Breeze, then Melon THEN CHOCOLATE; breathe on stamp; stamp image. Please use the same colors in the same places so the markers don’t get muddy. Breathe on stamp, stamp on scraps, punch out.
3. Cut center out of rose red Decorative Label Punch (p.30-mini, $16.95) and attach behind chocolate image.
4. To assemble front:

Attach chocolate cs to marina cs; attach Baja Breeze Designer Paper (Subtles Paper Stack, 40 sheets, p.175, $19.95); Attach ribbon with STRAIGHT edges around, then tie ribbon with pointy edges in a knot and attach to card with a Mini Glue Dot (p.197, $4.95 for 300). Use Mini Glue Dots to attach Adornments (p.15-mini, $5.95 for 24). Attach chocolate greeting with Dimensionals; attach 3 pearls. Attach to polka dot cs; fold white in ½ and attach to front.
6. Stamp and sign back in Rose Red (use new Handmade By stamp p.43 of mini, $4.95).\
