Stampin' Up!'s Succulents are so cool!

Hey everyone,

I am loving the Succulent Framelit Dies!  I am not usually one to make projects that require a lot of die-cutting and detail, but these really are easy!  You just die cut the six solid flowers, sponge some color on them, curl with a bone folder if you wish, and glue together!  I have used Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive and Dimensionals - both work!  I did use hot glue to attach them to the "moss" inside the clay pots.

The first sample is made by my creative helper, Kris.  She's AWESOME!!  Look at all that detail!  She used a picture frame she got on clearance because the glass was broken.  She just covered the hole for the picture with chipboard and attached the flowers to it!   You can see she scored some of the petals in half and bent them up - that's another great way to alter the flowers/succulents.

I actually made the other samples!  Some of my favorite color combos:

Cardstock Pool Party, sponge in Rich Razzleberry
Cardstock Pear Pizzazz, sponge in Whisper White
Cardstock Wisteria Wonder, sponge in Whisper White

Sponging in Whisper White is very cool!  And, you can sponge multiple colors and build layers.  I also recommend looking at "real" succulents on Pinterest to get coloring ideas.  Of course it's always fun to be creative and use un-real colors!
