Holiday Extravaganza Project

Here is the gift box we made at the Holiday Extravaganza.  I love the Gift Box Punch Board (135863, $19.95)!!  We did pre-score and punch the box for them to save time.  But, it's so easy to use!  All of the instructions, measurements, etc are right there on the board.  It comes with a scoring tool, too.

I highly recommend this punch board!

Assembly Action!
Here are the instructions from the class:

Advent Calendar

1.      Your images have been stamped for you by Kris with the 25 Days set (p.12, 135041, $25.95).  We also pre-punched almost everything for you.  YAY!

2.      Parts are IN ORDER.  BE VERY CAREFUL when you take the paper pieces out of the box, and it will be super easy to assemble.  Most are assembled with dimensionals, some are flat.  Feel free to use dimensionals on all if you prefer.

3.      Number NINE: hand cut out “nine”.

4.      Number 25: die cut out with small star framelit (p.231).

5.      Add rhinestones (p.209) with paper piercing tool (p.218).

6.      You can attach the boxes together with Velcro, sticky strip, etc in any shape you want – a tree, tree with a trunk, star, etc.  Or you can attach them to a wreath or on a frame.  Or, just stack them up on a shelf (as shown in the catalog).  THE WAY YOU ASSEMBLE THEM WILL AFFECT WHERE YOU PLACE THE NUMBERS – ON THE LID OR ON THE FRONT.

8.      To assemble like my sample: FIRST put all 25 boxes together.  SECOND place 7 in a row on the table with the LID FACING FRONT and ½ moon tab facing up.  Place a row of sticky strip across all seven, but DO NOT GO TOO FAR TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT.  Next line up six the same way/direction, hold them all tight at one time, pick up, and place on top of the seven with the sticky strip.  Repeat to the top – PAY ATTENTION that the FIFTH ROW IS DIFFERENT.  Last – attach each number to the front with a dimensional.  Remember, you are attaching them to the lid – each box will open by being pulled out towards you.
