Our occasion-specific mini catalogs allow us the opportunity to share the latest seasonal products with you and your customers, and we often carry over products from our mini catalogs into the following Idea Book & Catalog. This time, however, we have decided not to carry over the Stocking Builder Punch (item 124095) from the 2011 Holiday Mini Catalog into the next Idea Book & Catalog. Instead we will offer other great designs in its place--not to mention a trendy, new design planned for next holiday season.

Once the current inventory of this punch has been depleted, it will no longer be available for purchase. We hope many Stampin' Up! stockings will adorn cards and brighten holiday projects this season and look forward to seeing what you create with the next seasonal design.

Shelli's December 6 appearance on the TODAY Show is in recognition of Stampin' Up!'s participation with the Direct Selling Association (DSA) in the annual TODAY Show Holiday Toy Drive. We are honored once again to give back during this holiday tradition.

These are the six projects we made Saturday! It was a great day of demonstrations, prizes, and stamping! Thanks to everyone who came and everyone who helped me!! Videos of the demonstrations to come!!

Guests received a 1/2 pack of Holly Berry Bouquet Designer Paper, a 1/2 roll of Early Espresso Quilted Satin Ribbon, and a Card Keeper Box (over $20 value) plus lunch, demonstrations, and a chance to win a great door prize for only $30!!

Magnetic Memo Board!! SO EASY - just use our 12x12 Multipurpose adhesive sheets to apply designer paper to your metal board (this designer paper is Holly Berry Bouquet), and use the Crop a Dile to punch your holes!

Using the Simply Scored tool made this box and flower EASY!!

This is the Card Keeper Box in the Holiday Mini Catalog! It comes with the template to cover the lid, box, and dividers that are inside. What a deal!!!

This is the project I did at Stampapalooza this weekend. We had a GREAT time!! My project was three hair bows. All together, everyone got to make 16 projects. I will post those projects, too.

Supplies used: Soft Suede Cardstock; Big Shot p.215, $99.95; Tasteful Trim Die p.221, $42.95; Extended Cutting Pads p.215, $19.95; 1 ¾” Scallop Circle Punch p.210, $16.95; 1 3/8” Circle Punch p.212, $15.95; 12x12 Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (12) p.216, $14.95; Spice Cake Fabric p.18 (mini), $9.95; Craft & Rubber Scissors p.208, $19.95; Craft (aka Ribbon) Scissors p.208, $29.95; 5/8” Neutrals Brads (32) p.199, $6.95; Regals Buttons (72) p.197, $8.95; 1/8” Early Espresso Taffeta (10 yds) p.195, $5.95; hot glue gun; hair clip; computer

1. Die cut all 3 pieces of fabric at one time – use a SHIM ON TOP.

2. Attach adhesive sheets to all SIX pieces of Soft Suede cs (peel off the sheet that says Sizzix – this is the NON sticky side). Suede is 2 ½ x 2 ½; adhesive sheets are 2 ¼ x 2 ¼.

3. Punch out 3 circles and 3 scallop circles.

4. Peel off protective coating from one scallop circle; attach fabric as shown in video. When you get to the center, secure it with the hot glue gun. USE HOT GLUE GUN TIP TO PRESS IN FABRIC (INSTEAD OF YOUR FINGER).

5. Repeat on next two.

6. Cut off brad backs with CRAFT scissors (not ribbon scissors); tie ribbon through mustard button. USE HOT GLUE GUN to attach brads/button. (Cut off ONE prong at a time – hold on to the prong while you cut so it doesn’t fly into your eye.)

7. Peel off backing of off circles. Attach hair clip as shown in video.

I'm excited to announce my NEW Club!!! I have lots of customers who love Stampin' Up! products but feel they have enough cards and scrapbook pages for now. So, I had an idea - start a Craft Club! Here are the details. I have five signed up, so I just need five more and we'll start!! Contact me to join!

NEW Hostess Club Available:

CRAFT CLUB!!

Why? You love Stampin’ Up! but want to make more than cards and scrapbook pages.

Once a month for the next 10 months you commit to purchasing at least $29.00 (before tax & shipping) worth of Stampin’ Up! products. There will be a workshop held each month at my house (or new classroom) that all of the members can attend, however, you never have to attend a workshop if you don’t want to. At each workshop, there will be ONE to TWO planned projects to complete (must be present to complete OR a club member can make yours for you).

You receive the catalog FREE! Orders must be placed at the time of the monthly workshop. (If you can’t attend, just contact me with your order and arrange to make payment.)

When it is your month to receive the hostess benefits, you may invite guests to boost your workshop sales. When you host, you will receive AT LEAST $50 in FREE MERCHANDISE!! (Based on club member’s orders.) Guests pay $12 for the projects, or it’s free for them with any order of $29 or more (guest club member). You may also collect outside orders to boost your sales. When you are hostess, you can make one request for the month (within reason – card type and/or techniques – at my discretion).

The club meets on the third or fourth Saturday of each month at 6:30 (I am considering changing time to 9 or 10 AM) AND the following Monday at 9 AM and 7 PM (subject to change depending on holidays/me being out of town). You only need to come to ONE date each month, and you DO NOT have to come to the same day every month. The projects are the same for all 3 times. A drawing will be held before the first workshop to decide who is the first hostess, second hostess, and so on. You will be notified as soon as the drawing has been held of the month you will be the “hostess” – the month you receive hostess benefits based on the orders that month. There is more than one club meeting at these same times, so the guests at the club may or may not be in "your club".

**Important Club Policies: You MUST be present at club meetings to complete projects (unless a club member will complete yours at the club meeting for you). I cannot make/stamp for you. And, you are committing to purchasing $29 a month for the next 10 months in a row (even on months you are unable to attend).

My AWESOME downline (and Scott & Isabelle) gave me a surprise party at my demonstrator meeting this weekend! I was shocked!! It was a celebration of me earning Number Three Demonstrtor of the Year. I have to thank them ALL so much. I wouldn't have been number three without them! It's been 9 awesome years of doing what I love with people I love.

I was honored to be number three Demonstrator of the Year!! Thanks to all of my downline and customers (and husband and daughter)!! I could not have done it without all of YOU!

I also placed in two Leadership categories, but I can't remember what number! I should receive a certificate in the mail from Stampin' Up! soon to let me know. It's such a whirlwind that I don't pay attention to the numbers.

I just returned from the Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah with 21 other demonstrators in my Stamp Therapists group!! We had so much fun!! It was a crazy busy week! I want to thank all of the girls and a guy (!) in my group who made the investment to go. It was well worth it. We got tons of free stuff, learned business and stamping techniques, and had fun hanging out in our very little free time. Lots of us were recognized on stage. Congrats to Kristian and Lori for earning a Leadership award! All new demonstrators got to march across the stage! And, Nikki and April eanred their 5 year pin and got to march.

I was honored to be the number three Demonstrator of the Year in the company!! I could never have done it without my downline's accomplishments and my customers. Thank YOU!!

We got back from Vegas on Friday. We were there for Isabelle's dance competetion! Her group won 1st place in Hip Hop! We had a lot of fun, but are glad to be home.

These are the projects from my card club this month. We tried out the colored soot technique. Use the brayer to color glossy cardstock, then hold the glossy cardstock glossy side down over a candle (let the flame touch the cardstock), and move the cardstock around covering the paper with soot. Then stamp into it with a CLEAN stamp! That's it! Seal it with an acrylic sealer right away.

We used the Glimmer Paper from the Occasions Mini for the letters and die cut them with Timeless Type - an exclusive to Stampin' Up! alphabet die for the Big Shot that I got at 35% off because of my demonstrator birthday special!

We also did some heat embossing with I Heart Hearts and used the Medallion stamp on that card. We made a super quick and easy birthday card with Engraved Greetings (you can get it free with a $50 purchase!) and the 1st Edition Designer Paper. And, finally, we used the Fun Flowers Die for the last card.

I think Bliss is a MUST HAVE, and we always need more words, and So Happy for You is GREAT! It's all-occasion and has a stamp that says "so happy for you", too, isn't that a great greeting??

Simply Adorned (Jewelry) Class

The Simply Adorned class went GREAT! Everyone received a charm and made these inserts! The next class is March 26 - click Upcoming Classes Above for all the info. You make at least 10 inserts (you can see here that they got some bonus inserts). If you want to come but already have the charm (and don't want another), you can! Just pick $18.95worth of merchandise instead. We will be making different inserts at the next class.

Purse Class

This is the "Super Cute" Purse class I did this past Saturday. The purse is so easy - no cutting, just scoring and folding!
We used Stampin' Up!'s Springtime Vintage Designer Paper, the new Fun Flowers Die, Framed Tulips Folder, Easter Blossoms stamp set, Adornments, and MORE!! They made two of each card.

Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Conference

I went to Leadership Jan 12-14 in Nashville, TN, and it was AWESOME! It was the best Leadership EVER! We got TONS of free stuff, checked out the Ryman Theater, went to the Wild Horse Saloon with Stampin' Up!, and more. They really spoiled us all week. Can't wait for next year in San Antonio!!

January Card Club Projects

These are the cards my January card club made. I copied 3 of the 4!! Come check out club sometime - it's the 3rd Saturday at 6:30 pm and the following Monday at 9:00 am or 7:00 pm (3 times to choose from). Just RSVP by the Wed before. Guests are $7 or free with a $15 order!

Directions:

Valentine Card:

1. Spritz white cs with alcohol, emboss with Backgrounds I Texturz Plate (p.215, $11.95, 6 different images): MPP Tab 1, plate, cardstock, silicone (floppy) pad, impressions (plastic) pad.
2. Stamp Be My Valentine ($8.95 p.43-mini) in real red; stamp it again on scraps and cut out the words. Add Dazzling Diamonds Glitter with 2-Way Glue to flowers; attach “be my valentine” with dimensionals.
3. When you attach this to the red mat, it’s a VERY SMALL mat.
4. Punch Pinking Hearts Border (p.200) on pretty in pink cs – this punch is VERY SENSITIVE – you need to clean out the bottom after each punch and line up the image EXACTLY with the silver markings.
5. Choose side of Love Impressions Designer Paper – p.7 of the mini, place adhesive on the back and attach Red Glimmer Paper to it – p.7 of the mini.
6. Assemble card and attach heart image with Dimensionals.
7. Stamp and sign back in Real Red (use new Handmade By stamp p.43 of mini, $4.95).

Folded Paper Frame Card:

1. Emboss pear pizzazz cs with Framed Tulip folder.
2. To make folded frame: Springtime Vintage Designer Paper (p.15-mini, $9.95) is 4 ¼ x 4 ¼. Use pencil and ruler to mark an X in the center. Fold the 4 corners to the center. Then fold them back out leaving approx. ½ an inch. You have a frame!
3. Before you glue the frame together, insert the inside image:
4. Stamp “for you” from Punch Bunch – FREE with a $50 purchase! in Rose Red on scraps; punch center out with 1 ¼” Circle Punch; attach to pre-punched 1 3/8” Rose Red circle; punch out pre-stamped pear scallop image with scallop circle punch. Attach all to pre-punched Rose Red scallop circle (largest one NOT available for purchase right now) and make sure to attach “for you” with a dimensional. Place inside frame, then:
5. Attach the lower part of the frame with Snail and the 2nd (outer) part with dimensionals.
6. Attach longer piece of ribbon with straight edges cut around pear cs; attach frame; tie shorter piece of ribbon with pointy edges cut.
7. Fold white cs in ½; attach front to it.
8. Stamp and sign back in Rose Red (use new Handmade By stamp p.43 of mini, $4.95).

Bliss Card:

1. Emboss pretty in pink cs with new Framed Tulips folder and artichoke cs with Square Lattice folder.
2. Stamp image from Bliss – FREE WITH A $50 Purchase! – in artichoke in center of Naturals Ivory cs; then re-stamp on either side WITHOUT re-inking the stamp. Attach to melon cs – there will be a VERY SMALL BORDER.
3. Punch out two stems/leaves with 2 Step Bird Punch (p.202, $16.95).
4. Use sponge dauber (p.195, 12 for $10.95) to apply a thin layer of Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint - from lid (p.195, $5.95) to Vanilla Rosette (p.16, mini catalog, $5.95 for 18).
5. To assemble card: attach artichoke cs to pink; then run adhesive along bottom (above embossed tulips) and attach Chantilly Crochet Trim ruffling it up as you go.
6. Then attach Bliss image. Next add Pearl (p.188) and stems/leave (can use sticker sheet to place adhesive on these); then use Mini Glue Dot (p.197, $4.95 for 300) to attach Rosette.
7. Stamp and sign back in Always Artichoke (use new Handmade By stamp p.43 of mini, $4.95).

Chocolate Card:

1. Emboss white cs with Perfect Polka Dots Folder: MPP Tab 1, cutting pad, folder with 1 piece of cs inside folder and black writing facing up, cutting pad.
2. Ink up image with markers as shown in sample ALWAYS START WITH LIGHTER COLOR FIRST, SO Baja Breeze, then Melon THEN CHOCOLATE; breathe on stamp; stamp image. Please use the same colors in the same places so the markers don’t get muddy. Breathe on stamp, stamp on scraps, punch out.
3. Cut center out of rose red Decorative Label Punch (p.30-mini, $16.95) and attach behind chocolate image.
4. To assemble front:
5. Attach chocolate cs to marina cs; attach Baja Breeze Designer Paper (Subtles Paper Stack, 40 sheets, p.175, $19.95); Attach ribbon with STRAIGHT edges around, then tie ribbon with pointy edges in a knot and attach to card with a Mini Glue Dot (p.197, $4.95 for 300). Use Mini Glue Dots to attach Adornments (p.15-mini, $5.95 for 24). Attach chocolate greeting with Dimensionals; attach 3 pearls. Attach to polka dot cs; fold white in ½ and attach to front.
6. Stamp and sign back in Rose Red (use new Handmade By stamp p.43 of mini, $4.95).\
